Bandit country

Half-term holiday, and our last chance to fly anywhere for a while as Helen is 26 weeks pregnant. We settle on Alicante, since Ryan is mad about all things Spanish, and we can visit friends Tracy and Mike who live nearby. As soon as we arrive we know we have done the right thing - the weather is extremely warm for February and the food fantastic. On the Wednesday we drive over to Albir to visit our friends.

After several rounds of crazy golf, Tracy take us to Altea, and we climb its steep and winding alleys to visit the church with twin blue cupolas, perched atop the hill. We have a drink in the small but picturesque village square, and then find a nearby vantage point from where you can see the coastline and the countryside for miles around. And there, on a wall right behind us, is this little 'masterpiece'. Clearly 'in the style of' our very own Banksy, it is signed/stencilled "Bandit".
