Patient Alex

Alex was back at Kings College Hospital on February 8th for his second CCAM lung operation. The surgeons used "keyhole surgery" this time, to remove part of his left lung. This meant a much longer operation - about 9 hours - and he spent longer in intensive care afterwards because they discovered an infection during surgery. However he made good progress and was able to come home after 10 days.
